The Watts
Russell Arms is a charming eighteenth century stone built inn set in the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National
Park, within walking distance of the Dove and Manifold Valleys.
Our menu combines flair with respect for the ingredients
we use. Many of our dishes are suitable for vegetarians, and given advance notice we can usually comply with specific dietary
requirements. All our dishes are prepared from scratch, using local suppliers wherever possible. We do not use packaged
food
or ready-meals.
Our wine list is chosen to reflect
the quality of our food.
However, we do not regard the Watts Russell as a ‘gastropub’. You can have just a starter or even a pudding
on its own.
If you are only here for the beer we pride ourselves on the quality of our ales and lagers. As a Freehouse
we have been able to source all of our beers from within 25 miles of the pub. Hand crafted lagers are
traditionally brewed at the Freedom Brewery, and an ever changing range of award winning real ales come from
the Thornbridge Brewery.
